Academics and higher degree students in the School of Integrative Biology conduct research ranging from conservation biology and ecology, through to agricultural and medical biotechnology. There is currently an average of 5 postgraduate research students per academic research group within the School together with a large number of postdoctoral researchers. The strong research focus within the School makes for an exciting intellectual environment encouraging creativity and leading edge discovery.
